Eminem has released for the visual for “Rap God” which was directed by Rich Lee. In the video, Em takes on an impression of British A.I. host Max Headroom as he flaunts his wordplay and lyrical abilities in amazing fashion. The video also takes a page out of The Matrix as the God-level rapper is wired to television sets to acquire rap knowledge from hip-hop’s Golden Age. Sorry to say but the video is better than the actual song.
The video was shot in Detroit’s Russell Industrial Center. Watch “Rap God” above. Marshall Mathers LP 2 in stores now.
