The End of Thirst Trapping: Instagram To Introduce Private Messaging Feature

urlInstagram, the photo/video-sharing social network giant is adding fuel to fire by reportedly gearing up to introduce a private-messaging feature which allows users to discreetly message other users. According to a report from the website GIGAOM, before the end of the year, a new version of Instagram is expected to launch that contains both one-on-one and group messaging features. Sources inside the company say work on adding on this feature has already begun however a spokesperson for the “‘Gram” has declined to comment.

Ladies…and gentlemen it may be time to quit uploading suggestive pictures to your account as now your stalkers will be able to hit you up with no discretion. You all may need to be a little more careful in choosing whether or not to opt for the ‘Valencia” or “Lo-Fi” filter as your choices may come with consequences. The art of thirst trapping may be a dead come 2014. On the flipside, perverts be careful as I’m sure ladies will no problem sharing a picture of you trying to be thirsty in their inbox. Tread lightly.
