After two years of stressed anticipation and abundant rumors, Entourage the HBO “dramedy” that ended in 2011 after eight riveting seasons has been given the greenlight for a feature film, although a date for the movie’s release has yet to be announced. According to Jerry Ferrara, who played Salvatore “Turtle” Assante, Vince’s (Adrien Grenier) personal assistant and loyal friend, HBO and Warner Bros. Pictures have given the film the “go-ahead” to begin shooting. While details are scarce at the moment, series creator Doug Ellin confirmed that the script is finished and that the plot of the movie will pick up six months after the TV series ended.
Even though there isn’t a concrete date for the movie’s release you can bet that’ll gladly pay my ten dollars to see this. View Ferrara’s tweets below.
