In the latest stream-of-consciousness provided by the self-proclaimed demi-god, we witness Mr. West deliver a powerful ten-minute speech that covers all the bases including his current views on world issues. During last night’s tour stop in Las Vegas, the prolific rapper/fashion designer let his thoughts fly regarding topics that have been all too familiar in past months. Mimicking much of his comments from his interview with BBC Radio 1 and Zane Lowe, West rages about “class-ism”, the recent Barneys New York racial profiling incident, and how he has the power to control the Internet. West also weaves lyrics from “New Slaves” into the rant by comparing his fight to dismantle couture fashion’s elitist culture to the civil rights demonstrations his late mother Donda West participated in.
