Very early this morning, God MC Jay-Z released his first new solo material in over a year with the debut of “Open Letter” which discusses all the recent headlines he has made from he and Beyonce‘s vacation in Cuba to his reported selling of his Brooklyn Nets ownership for his new RocNation Sports venture. Also mentioned was President Barack Obama as Jay-Z stated, “Obama said chill, you gonna get me impeached/ But you don’t need this shit anyway/Chill with me on the beach.” Watch White House Press Secretary Jay Carney state in his daily public addressing that President Obama didn’t have any say in Hova’s trip to Cuba or the statements made in the song. It’s crazy how much publicity and controversy Jay receives for simple name-checking in a song. Listen to “Open Letter” below.

Jay also name checked Chief Keef in the song with lyrics, “Fine, let me commit a real crime/ I might buy a kilo for Chief Keef.” Read Keef’s reaction below.
